Silvia Marte as a speaker manages to communicate all the emotion and transformative power behind Vulnerables on stage, in a unique and moving experience for the audience, who are presented with an important exercise in empathy and listening.
A lecture in Spanish and English, designed both for the public and for an audience of health professionals.

In this talk, Silvia also presents herself personally and adds the voices of the brave protagonists of the project, first-person experiences that she combines with statistical data, bibliographical references and stories of the women in her most intimate environment.
Its transmuting power, turning the pain of the victims into protection for other women, together with the breaking of the taboo that still exists around this type of violence, makes the conference very viral and generates echoes beyond the venue.
As an artist, activist and disseminator, Silvia Marte turns this conference into an inspiring and memorable experience. Because there are ideas worthy of being disseminated, and this is undoubtedly one of them.
Vulnerables as a project harbours a brutal combination of pain and truth, hope and sisterhood, concepts that reach the spectator through its own discourse as well as through the portraits and stories of the victims.

Vulnerables is feminist history, becoming a powerful tool for social change, promoting empathy and listening, and challenging patriarchal prejudices. These prejudices drive our society and have as a direct consequence terrible effects on the health of women and newborns.
With this project that Silvia Marte has conceived and given birth to from conviction and from the heart, she has become a global inspirational leader, demonstrating once again that unity is strength and that truth has an irrefutable transforming power.
